First stop was East Lake, which was beautiful and scenic. With a slight mist over the still water, the photos were somewhat surreal. Next stop was the The Revolution of 1911 Museum and Memorial. A step back in time as the country transitioned its governance from its last emperor.
There were also walk throughs of the beautiful campuses of both Wuhan University of Music and Wuhan University.
As a foodie, I had to try the local Wuhan Dry Noodles (热干面 rè gān miàn)…quite delicious and highly recommended. I also had the chance to try different foods from the adventures of a local night food market followed by a stroll along the river at night.
Wuhan was a large city without the crazy hustle and bustle of Zhengzhou. I really enjoyed it and would like to return here again.
